How I Work

I practice as a person-centred counsellor. This means that I do not bring an agenda to client work, instead, my focus is on the provision of genuine non-judgement, empathy and personal authenticity. I have particular clinical experience with bereavement and loss. I work in a trauma informed way and have experience working with traumatic bereavement. I am LGBTQIA+ allied and work affirmatively with explorations of gender and identity.

I am based in South Birmingham where I provide face to face sessions in Bournville.

I also provide counselling online and in some cases it may be possible for me to travel to you.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and as such abide by their Ethical Framework.

Please see: www.bacp.co.uk/ethical-framework for more information or:

My sessions are 50 minutes long.
